Born in Kiev, Ukraine, saxophonist ARKADY [hear pronunciation ] resides in New York City. He received Master of Music Degree from Manhattan School of Music, where he won the Andrew Goodman Prize for Best Clarinetist.

With a busy schedule -- performing, recording, producing, composing, arranging, and teaching -- Arkady covers many diverse areas of the New York City music scene, plus touring: USA, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico, Canada, England, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Ukraine, Israel, Japan, etc.

As a multi-woodwind specialist, Arkady has performed in a wide variety of settings:

With symphony, opera and ballet orchestras: The Orchestra of St. Luke's, Concordia, New York  PopsPilobolus Dance Company (with Klezmatics at the Joyce Theater); under the batons of Gunther Schuller, Michael Tilson Thomas, Marin Alsop; on such prestigious stages as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

On Broadway and TV: Chicago, 42nd Street, Guys and Dolls, Big River, Marilyn: An American Fable; "Late Show" with David Letterman on CBS, on MTV with "Weird Al" Yankovic, Andrew Taylor [Duran Duran]
