Oh What A Night!!!
Wednesday, December 18th, 2002 New York City, USA, Earth...
the weather was OK - no rain
or snow...
the dreaded Transit Strike didn't happen!!!
the new architectural design for rebuilding
Ground Zero were announced and...
@ 6:45 PM Tommy Tune's White Tie And Tails had its Opening Night...
It seemed like the whole world was at Tommy's feet, and... those "dancing feet"
RULED, at least on 42nd Street in NYC, USA... and it was sweet 
!!!
After the show, the "cameras, lights, action, microphones!" went to
work! "Names", smiles, great vibe everywhere -- it was SO exciting! I did
the best I could to capture some of that INCREDIBLE feeling with my loyal
digital

turned out to be VERY down to Earth, gracious, classy people...
The Opening Night Party flew by faster than a snapshot... The Producers
were REALLY nice to invite not only the "names", but also ALL "little"
Little Shubert PEOPLE to this party! From the entire orchestra,
to ushers, to security guard, to stage hands etc. -- EVERYONE, and their
guests(wive's, husbands etc.) was included, and it DID feel like a "family"!!!
Add to that the general Holiday Season "vibe" and .... Oh what a
night it was!!!...
Among the celebs not(?) shown here were(not in any particular order!!)
Lesley Stahl and Morley Safer of CBS's 60
Minutes, Al
Hirschfeld, Jerry
Stiller and Ann
Meara, and many other folks whom I've seen on TV, but whose names I
couldn't recall... and let's not forget our VP's Dick Cheney's "little
Kidd" brother, Ron
